A GOD IN WRATH

UM DEUS IRADO

Um deus irado
Batia num homem;
Espancava-o ruidosamente
Com golpes atroadores
Que soavam e ressoavam pela Terra.
Toda a gente veio a correr.
O homem gritava e procurava libertar-se,
E mordia furiosamente os pés do deus.
As pessoas exclamavam; "Ah, que homem malvado!"

"Ah que deus formidável!"

A god in wrath
Was beating a man;
He cuffed him loudly
With thunderous blows
That rang and rolled over the earth.
All pepole came running.
The men screamed and struggled,
And bit madly at the feet of the god.
The pepole cried: "Ah,what a wicked men!"
And -
"Ah, waht a redoutable god!"
